
Starting later this spring, Blue Chair Fruit will begin offering jam and marmalade classes taught by our owner and founder, Rachel Saunders. Our classes will focus on the versatility of fruit, on how to keep and sharpen each fruit's special flavor, and on how to get the best results when making jam or marmalade in the home kitchen. Each class will be taught in our spacious Oakland kitchen, a converted turn-of-the-century streetcar garage, and will focus on a certain type of fruit or preserve.
