We are thrilled to announce that our owner, Rachel Saunders, will be coming out with a cookbook in Fall of 2010! Her book, The Blue Chair Jam Cookbook, will be the definitive jam and marmalade cookbook of the 21st century, and will be published by Andrews McMeel. In addition to nearly 120 original jam, jelly and marmalade recipes, Rachel will share all of her secrets and information on canning techniques and her unique jam maker's perspective on fruit. This lavishly illustrated 400-page book will illustrate every part of the preserving process, making The Blue Chair Jam Cookbook the must-have book for fruit- and jam-loving home and professional cooks!

Rachel is so excited about the team behind her forthcoming book! Her publisher, Andrews McMeel, is doing a fantastic job, and has in the past couple of years put out several excellent cookbooks, including Falling Cloudberries and My Nepenthe. Andrews is also publishing the Sur la Table cookbook series.
