Blue Chair Fruit was recently featured in Gourmet Magazine Weekly!


Blue Chair Fruit has been featured in the most respected publications of the San Francisco Bay Area, and we have gained region-wide recognition for the uniqueness and excellence of our preserves. We were featured in a full-page spread on the cover of the San Francisco Chronicle food section in May of last year, and have also been featured on the cover of Alameda Magazine and the Alameda Journal, in addition to articles in San Francisco Magazine, Edible San Francisco, the East Bay Express, the Oakland Tribune, and Oakland Magazine, among others. We are excited for our upcoming article on jam and cheese pairings, which is scheduled to appear in Culture magazine later this spring!
In addition to our many articles and mentions, we are highly rated on yelp.Blue Chair Fruit's jams and marmalades were featured at Slow Food Nation in 2008, and Rachel, our owner, was a delegate to Terra Madre in Turin, Italy that same year. Rachel is an active member of Slow Food USA, and Blue Chair Fruit participated in Oakland's Eat Real Festival this past August.
