Market Flavors – January 29 & 30

Now that we’re in the heart of marmalade season, it feels like we have new marmalade flavors right and left. We’ll have our delicious Meyer Lemon-Blood Orange Marmalade with Rose Geranium from last week (our first of the season!) as well as a new Pink Grapefruit-Blood Orange Marmalade we made this week. We haven’t tired of our kitchen smelling of citrus yet, and we don’t think we will anytime soon!

Market Flavors 11/13 + 14

Mmm, we have a little bit of everything for the markets this week! Just as we’re gearing up for Thanksgiving time, we thought we’d bring out some of our summertime favorites — like Golden Sweet Apricot Jam. There’s still a little time to reminisce about summer before jumping into the holidays, right?

Halloween Weekend – Autumnal Flavors!

Our flavors this weekend are going to be particularly exciting — some of our favorites from earlier in the year, plus a few of our favorite autumn flavors! These darker, richer flavors like damson plum and fig pair beautifully with warm autumn flavors.

Weekend Flavors & Cavallo Point Jam 101

We are very pleased to announce that we are collaborating with the Cavallo Point Cooking School to offer our Jam 101 class!

Cavallo Point is a lovely site just on the other side of the Golden Gate Bridge, so it’s easily accessible for pretty much everyone in the Bay Area. This will be our full Jam 101 class — lots of hands-on experience, very focused on understanding the jam process, and Rachel’s expertise! You can sign up with us or through Cavallo Point. Market Flavors: Oct 16 & 17

How did it get to be October already? And not just October, but MID-October? We’re still cooking up some delicious jams with our favorite summer fruits– mostly damson plums and tomatoes right now — but we know the seasons will inevitably turn to autumn very soon.

Are you sad to see summer go, too? You can savor its bright flavors year-round with the delicious flavors we’re bringing to the farmers’ markets this weekend. We think peach or raspberry jam is the perfect way to reminisce about summer on a brisk autumn morning.
